However, if you take time to learn the limitations and learn how to work within those limitations, and, if you don't expect it to do all of the things that ProPresenter can do then Proclaim is an amazingly awesome program. With that said, Proclaim is not perfect and there are limitations. MediaShout vs Microsoft PowerPoint Comparison MediaShout vs Google Slides Comparison.
Add to compare Industry leading media and worship lyric presentation tool built for Mac and Windows. However, if cost is a factor (ProPresenter is pricey itself, but is even more so when you take into account how many machines will run it, site licenses to run it in more than one location (main service, young adults service, youth) and upgrades) then I wil say that Proclaim is a great product. ProPresenter by Renewed Vision (1,811 reviews) View Profile. But in pretty much every other way ProPresenter outpaces Keynote as a pro-grade presentation solution. As we’ve compared the two tools, Keynote has few advantages: it’s free for Mac users, and Apple’s presentation software solution lets you create presentations that look good. It's my understanding, though, that if you have the money (it's pretty pricey) and some tech-savvy people to run it, it is well worth it. Final Thoughts on Keynote vs ProPresenter. I wasn't on the media team when we used MS, but those who were say they like Proclaim much better.įrom the people I know who have used ProPresenter they say it is absolutely awesome! There are other things too that frustrate me with Proclaim, but there are many advantages. If you use a different size background in Proclaim, you are stuck with bars. For example, in MediaShout if you have a background that is 16:9 and your output is 4:3 there are several options (including custom) to make it work. The frustrating thing about proclaim is that it has very few adjustments that you can make with the backgrounds. So proclaim is really nice - when it will sync. For some reason it would not sync files this morning - very frustrating! I really like to be able to build the script for Sunday morning without having to either be in the media office or needing to back it up to a thumb drive. Today was one of those days where Proclaim made me a little crazy. I really like parts of proclaim - I really like parts of MediaShout. But have tried out Proclaim for the last several months.
